As the trend towards building homes with larger windows continues, homeowners will continue to see fabulous window placements with modern designs incorporated into new house plans of all sizes and architectural styles, in order to maximize the amount of natural light entering into the home and open up outdoor views, while reducing energy costs.
Designers are now incorporating much larger windows into their kitchen floor plans, creating light, bright and open workspaces. This open feeling is carried through to the dining and great rooms, where you'll often find large walls of windows and retractable patio doors opening to the outdoor living areas.
